The Arcade Fighter requires a PS3 Adapter (PS3SUSB). The USB Adapter is used for all Arcade Fighter series controllers, Arcade Fighter Arcade Stick, Arcade Fighter Micro and Arcade Fighter Classic Controller. The adapter is used when playing on PS3 Slim console. There is no need to use the adapter for the older PS3 models, just the PS3 Slim.
